As with all years, Pirates Week 2024 will be a vibrant and exciting event that takes place in the Cayman Islands in November 2024. This annual Islands-wide celebration immerses visitors in the captivating world of pirates, with a series of exciting events, lively parades, and a host of activities for all ages.

The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closures, taking place over the next two weekends, to facilitate this year’s Pirate’s Festival activities:
Thursday, 7 November – Saturday, 9 November
-Albert Panton Street will be partially closed in the vicinity of the old Scotiabank building from 6:00PM on Thursday, 7 November to 12:00AM on Sunday, 10 November.
Saturday, 9 November
-Seafarers Way will be closed between Warwick Drive and Fort Street from 6:00AM to 12:00AM.
-There will also be an all-island motorcade from the Cayman Turtle Centre, in West Bay, which will finish in front of Hard Rock Café.
Monday, 11 November
-Seafarers Way will be partially closed at Cardinall Avenue from 5:30AM to 6:15AM.
-Seafarers Way will be closed between Goring Avenue and Fort Street from 8:00PM to 12:00AM
Thursday, 14 November - Saturday, 16 November
-Albert Panton Street will be partially closed in the vicinity of the old Scotiabank building from 6:00PM on Thursday, 14 November to 12:00AM on Sunday, 17 November.
Saturday, 16 November
-Seafarers Way will be closed between Warwick Drive and Fort Street from 6:00PM to 12:00AM.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas during these times, and to obey any traffic signs, barriers, or instructions from officers present.
