Lavender on the Rocks
Support Cayman Islands Cancer Society by spreading awareness and raising funds throughout February.
World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day on February 4th aims to unite us all in the fight against cancer. The Cayman Islands Cancer Society (CICS) have been working hard on island-wide initiatives to spread awareness and raise funds for those in the Cayman community that are sadly being affected by cancer.
On January 28th, the community will come together in this year's Stride Against Cancer fun run, raising funds for this worthy cause. But the fun doesn't stop there…
Lavender on the Rocks
Everyone knows the iconic pink ribbon that stands for breast cancer, but not everyone knows that lavender is the awareness colour for all cancers. So, throughout the month of February, restaurants and bars will be joining in this fight against cancer by participating in Lavender on the Rocks. This event will see the creation of lavender-themed drinks on cocktail and mocktail menus across the Island. Every participating venue will be donating to the CICS to raise vital funds to help in this fight against cancer.
What can you do?
Go and visit these participating bars and restaurants and show your support! Organise a Lavender on the Rocks night out (wearing lavender of course) and enjoy some fabulous cocktails at some of Cayman's best venues, all whilst donating to a fantastic cause.
