I honestly can't get enough of this place. The best Mexican food. The best service. Ever.

We went to Agave because we had two strict vegetarians (vegans) in our group along with three dedicated carnivores and needed a compromise; both their ads and online information made it clear they had some vegetarian options.
On first impression, it's tiny -- not cramped (unless it was packed, maybe then), but intimate.
The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole evening was kicked off by a crash course in tequila and a round of mid-grade Cabo Wabo shots all around, plus a pitcher of delicious margaritas!
The chips were of the red white and blue corn variety, but the treat was some light but delicious fried flour tortilla chips as well. Not greasy at all, and lots of flavor. No lard! Dipping sauces included a very fresh and mild pico di gallo, fresh guacamole, and a spicy cheese sauce.
The entrees were very fresh and satisfying, with large portions and lively, earthy flavors. The two additional hot sauces ranged from sweet and smoky to HEAT, so something for everyone.
The fried ice cream dessert was outrageous, and the service delightful!
Overall, as positive and fun a dining experience as one could hope for, and a place we will definitely be visiting again!

This is a "little gem" on Grand Cayman. Great food, friendly atmosphere and above all personable owner and staff. We had the Mexican style prepared fresh tuna with a side salad and it was out of this world! Fresh tasting, and a good portion made it a great value. The side sauces that were provided made the meal complete. Start with an order of chips with guacamole and salsa. Finish with the chocolate lava cake. It was so good, we made a second visit during our week long stay. Way to go Ervin, keep up the great work!

This is the one & only restaurant I will miss when I move back to Louisiana. The food is fresh, well seasoned and delicious. Try the Tequila Shrimp anything (quesadilla, enchilada or burrito), so tasty! The staff is always friendly. The prices are more than affordable. It's definitely a "don't judge a book by it's cover" kind of place, it's quaint & charming in the inside. Do not pass this place by, it's definitely worth it!

The food is always delish and the Irvin always makes you feel welcome every time. Truly a wonderful place to eat great food!

I love this place! the food is superb & the staff & owners really friendly & personable. It is cosy -like your own dining room- but do book on Fri/Sat nights. The take-out is as good as eating in. The pork wet burrito is #1! $8.95 for an awesome dinner that will fill you to bursting point is a great deal!! Long live Agave Grill.

I just tried Agave for the first time after hearing so many great reports - and it is even better than I hoped. Fans of authentic Mexican will not be disappointed! Fresh, friendly and reasonably priced - one of the best finds in Cayman.

Agave Grill is a true gem in Cayman. Don't let the location fool you...inside is some of the freshest, most delicious Mexican food on the planet served up by great staff in a relaxed environment. Favourites include the fish burrito, wahoo ceviche and prickly pear margaritas. The portions are HUGE but you will want to try everything, so wear loose fitting clothes!

Best Mexican food on the island, with good value for the pesos spent. Highly recommended for lunch crowd and takeout. The homemade chips and salsa/guacamole are a must.
