What’s your signature cocktail ?

At the moment it would be the candied popcorn old fashioned I serve in Seven.

What brought you to Cayman and what made you stay longer than you had intended?

My Husband and I were finishing our 1 year work visas up in Canada and thought we would come to Cayman for a season while we decided what to do next...that was 4 years ago! I think we got a sense of community on the island really quickly and the lifestyle and sunshine suits us well.

Funniest Bartending Experience?

There have been so many! The whole World Class Competition would have to be my favourite experience personally. Such a huge challenge and I learnt so much.


If you could bring only three things to the Cayman Islands, what would you bring?

Sunscreen, a good book and a box of craft beer!

The girls at work think I made a good pineapple mojito!


What brought you to Cayman and what made you stay longer than you had intended?

I was born and raised here and while I'd love to live abroad sometime soon, its always been too easy to stay here with it being such a great place to call home.


Funniest Bartending Experience

Working at Peppers for the last 15 months has been a fun job to go into every day. I laugh many times a day and I've had too many good memories to mention.

The last gift I gave someone was a 3AM burger run to Burger Shack.

How and when did you get into bartending?

I always loved and enjoyed food and beverage, I guess by culture (coming from Champagne in France). I started to work as a bartender in New Zealand while I learned English. It was one of the best and most important experiences because it allowed me to do something that I love and have been passionate about since forever but it also allowed me to enjoy my life.

What’s your signature cocktail ?
“The last Bijoux” which I created by combining two of my favourite cocktails, “The last Word” and “Le Bijoux”. These two cocktails include green Chartreuse, which is my favourite bitters from France and contains more than 130 herbs in it.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

A really good bottle of tequila.

What is your favourite bartending experience?

10 years in the industry...I wouldn't know where to begin…

Have you ever spotted a celebrity at your bar?

Hard to say! There are always so many. I guess I will have to say New Zealand when I worked in this beautiful boutique hotel as assistant beverage manager. I was just in love with the place and had amazing cooperation from my leader.Sweet Vermouth

What brought you to Cayman and what made you stay longer than you had intended?

The climate, the beautiful beaches that are excellent for my favourite hobbies - kiteboarding and surfing, the simple lifestyle, and of course it's tax-free.

What's your Hangover Cure?
Being from Canada my hangover cure is 100% a spicy Caesar. They fix you up every time, hair of the dog so to speak.


What’s your signature cocktail ?

One of my favorite cocktails is one I just made for Cayman Cocktail Week. Tanqueray, elderflower, fresh mint and ginger beer. People love gin right now.


What brought you to Cayman and what made you stay longer than you had intended?

My grandparents lived here before I was born so I already knew about the island from a young age. What made me stay was a mixture of the good weather, good food and good people

As my funniest bartending experience goes... whatever happens at my bar stays at my bar!
