The award-winning cellars of these Cayman restaurants are sure to please even the most discerning oenophile. Each of the restaurants below house a wide selection of carefully cellared wines, offering an excellent choice for every palate.
For the team at The Brasserie, their devotion to producing superb food is matched only by their passion for serving superior wines. The Brasserie’s wine programme showcases a diversity of wines, each of which reflects their commitment to delivering outstanding value to their clientele, without compromising on quality. This achievement has been recognised by Wine Spectator, which has bestowed upon the Brasserie their Restaurant Wine List Award of Excellence for the past three consecutive years. Given the care and attention that is paid to selecting each wine on The Brasserie's list, it is only natural that equal emphasis would be given to protecting the integrity of those wines once they reach the restaurant. The Brasserie's wine selection is kept in perfect condition by their temperature and humidity controlled walk in cellar. That selection now includes over 325 labels; rest assured, The Brasserie’s in-house wine specialist will be delighted to help you explore their range and suggest a wine to perfectly compliment your meal.
European & New World
Grand Old House
When it comes to wine, Grand Old House’s reputation is second to none, receiving the most awards in the Caribbean from the Wine Spectator magazine. They have an extensive collection of reds from Bordeaux, Napa Valley and Tuscany with premium older vintages being bought from wine merchants and private wine collections. Most of the whites are hand-picked from the northern part of Italy, Austria and California. Indeed, it is claimed that Austrian wines are the perfect “food wines” as they enhance and complement the spices of Caribbean flavours. Wine connoisseurs dining at Grand Old House are encouraged to select the vintage of their choice from the Wine Room and can even request a private tasting. Grand Old House also boasts one of the largest Armagnac collections in the world starting with a vintage from 1888!

Ragazzi’s wine list has received the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence every year since 2003 and was upgraded in 2010 to Best of Award of Excellence. With over 600 selections to choose from, Ragazzi’s wine list is created with the following culinary philosophy in mind: that food and wine are intended to complement each other as only Italians know best. In addition to offering some of your favourite wines from many international wine regions, Ragazzi also imports Italian wines, which you won’t be able to find anywhere else on Grand Cayman. Many of these wines are from Tuscany and Piedmont, including vineyards like Lisini, Venica, Giacosa and Biondi Santi. If you are a wine connoisseur, or just want to enjoy a great glass of wine, rest assured Ragazzi will have something to satisfy you. All their wines are stored in temperature-controlled cellars and served in crystal stemware to ensure that the wine is delicious.
